About the Role
They are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the high-quality delivery of software products developed by the cross-functional squads. As a member of the Product and Engineering team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the quality
of products. They follow the Scrum methodology, with squads focusing on various problem areas, and work in 2-week sprint cycles to build and deploy features and products.
This is a full time remote position.
What do you need to be considered succesful?
â Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and Designers to understand product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
â Create, maintain, and execute test plans and test cases to validate the functionality, performance, and security of software products.
â Write automated tests for regression, integration, and performance testing, ensuring the reliability of software.
â Manually review and test sprint tickets when automation is not feasible or when additional testing is required.
â Identify and document software defects, inconsistencies, and issues, and work closely with the development team to resolve them.
â Participate in sprint planning and provide feedback to ensure that user stories are well-defined and testable.
â Conduct exploratory testing to uncover unexpected issues and provide valuable feedback on user experience.
â Perform compatibility testing across different devices and browsers, ensuring a seamless user experience.
â Monitor, track, and report on the progress of quality assurance activities during sprint cycles.
â Maintain a strong focus on improving test coverage and test automation strategies.
â Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA process and best practices within the organization.

This would be to identify and rectify operational inefficiencies, quality issues and potential issues in the supply chain to ensure smooth and cost-effective logistics operations.
What do you need to have done in your career?
â Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
â 2-5 years of proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or similar role in a Scrum/Agile development environment.
â Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
â Proficiency in writing automated tests using testing frameworks like Selenium, JUnit, or equivalent.
â Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
â Solid understanding of web and mobile technologies, as well as web services and APIs.
â Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
â Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
â Detail-oriented with a keen eye for identifying software defects and anomalies.
â Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus.
â ISTQB or similar certification is a plus.
