We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team at Chefaa. Chefaa is a leading digital health platform in Egypt and the MENA region, providing customers with the convenience of ordering pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical products online and getting them delivered straight to their doorstep. Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements.
- Implement financial policies and procedures to ensure proper internal controls.
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards and company policies.
- Manage tax compliance, staying updated on tax laws and regulations, and liaise with external tax advisors.
- Coordinate with senior management to make informed financial decisions that will impact company growth.
- Supervise and mentor accounting team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or similar role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
- Proven leadership and supervisory experience.
- Experience in a health or pharmaceutical and E-commerce industry is a plus.
